July 13: Ahoy, treasure seekers! Point your way to the Warren County Library Headquarters for Geocaching 101. All ages are invited on Wednesday, July 13 from 10am-1 pm for an introduction to the real-world, GPS-powered, outdoor treasure-hunting game of geocaching. The program will begin with an indoor presentation explaining the basics, and weather permitting, it will head outside around the library grounds for some hands-on experience!

The Phillipsburg Ole Towne Festival Committee, along with the Town of Phillipsburg, presents the 29th AnnualPhillipsburg Ole Towne Festival.
Friday Night at Shappell Park includes a 50's Themed "Sock Hop" kick-off concert featuring the prominent Lehigh Valley band - Flamin' Dick and the Hot Rods. Attendees will also enjoy a historic car show and a selection of gourmet food trucks.
Saturday, July 16 the action moves to the town's iconic Walters Park. The day will feature at least six well-known Lehigh Valley bands covering every genre for all to enjoy. Local restaurants and non-profit organizations will serve a variety of delicious food offerings to tempt all taste buds. Since this event is for the entire family, we will have roaming entertainment, educational acts for the kids, a petting zoo, a BMX bike demo, free hot-air balloon rides, a youth soccer competition, carnival rides and games, etc.
The festivities end On July 16 with an amazing fireworks display, which is highly anticipated every year!

Becker Farms Railroad to operate in Phillipsburg this Friday and Sunday, July 15 and 17
To coincide with
Ole Towne Festival, the Phillipsburg Railroad Historians will be operating the Centerville and Southwestern Miniature Railroad
6-9pm on Friday, July 15 and again on
Sunday July 17 from 1-4pm.
Tickets are free! The Centerville and Southwestern Railroad was constructed on the Becker Dairy Farm in Roseland NJ starting in 1938. The railroad was open to the public in 1948 and continued thrilling the young and old until Labor Day of 1972. After decades in storage the railroad was moved to Phillipsburg in the 1990's and a portion of it is now being operated on select days during the year. So bring the kids and the young at heart to experience (or relive) a ride on this historic railroad this weekend.

Kicks off Centenary Stage Company's 2016 Summer Jamfest
"One of the hardest working full time Buffet Bands on the circuit today", Parrotbeach presents the best of Jimmy Buffett and Island music live in the Sitnik Theater at 8pm. Party to your favorite Jimmy Buffet tunes and sing along to Buffett's humorous chronicles of a laid-back seafaring life.

Well-Sweep Herb Farm's 27th annual Midsummer Herb Festival celebrates Peppers!
Capsicum is the 2016 International Herb Association's Herb of the Year. Enjoy a tasty luncheon prepared with several different varieties - from sweet to hot, as well as other complimentary herbs. Come and learn about the many virtues of this popular culinary and medicinal plant, as well as growing tips. A lecture and tour through the garden will also be part of the day's activities. A family endeavor, Well-Sweep Herb Farm is home to one of the largest collections of herbs and perennials in the country. Features include a multitude of herbs and perennials, display gardens and a gift shop. Warren County has a new shuttle program: 31 RIDE!
This shuttle provides Warren County residents with transportation b
etween Oxford and the Clinton Park and Ride.
It is designed to alleviate traffic along the Route 31 corridor and the hassle of finding a parking space at the lot in Clinton, where other public transportation is available. Motorists can now park their cars at three designated park and ride facilities:
- Oxford Municipal Building - Washington Township Municipal Building - Family Dollar Store, Washington
In addition, regular service is available to the
Hawk Pointe Plaza/ShopRite
and on demand service is available to
Abilities of Northwest Jersey and the
Glen Gardner Post Office,
but there is no parking at these three stops.
