Students will learn to perform with confidence, ease and pleasure that will radiate out to their audience. Learn how to take care of themselves to avoid touring burnout and how to present themselves professionally to a venue.
Songwriting in Your Sleep
Caroline will introduce the practice of letting go and allowing the song to write itself.
Gurilla Guitarworks
Students should have basic ability on the guitar to take this class. Beginning guitarists should notify teacher/school as considerations could be made for a beginner's class.

Guitar techniques: learning the variations of chords up and down the neck, giving the songwriter more "colors on the palate".  Supporting song/vocals/lyrics with dynamic guitar tools, such as finger-picking combined with rhythmic right and left hand techniques ("power picking"; claw and hammer techniques from the banjo applied to guitar; hammer-on and pull-off on the left hand, as well as chording shortcuts/economy in movement).

Combining bass runs with variations in chording and scale runs, covering the spectrum of highs, mids, and lows that give the songwriter a broad base of music to "fatten" their song, instrumentally.

The day will begin and end with yoga.
