JOIN IN SUPPORT FOR ROHINGYAS
Myanmar is a predominately Buddhist country and the Rohingya have lived there for centuries. Recently the Rohingya, a Muslim minority in Myanmar (Burma) are being forced from their ancestral homes into neighboring countries,
such as Bangladesh.
Please continue to donate generously to our member relief organizations, Helping Hand and Islamic Relief, among others, helping the Rohingya.

HURRICANES STRIKE THE SOUTHEAST
First
Harvey and now
Irma, two separate hurricanes that have left a path of destruction from Texas to Florida as well as in Latin America and the Caribbean. Many people have lost their homes, some lost their lives. There is standing water and no electricity in many cities and towns.
Those of us not affected by the hurricanes should help rescue and recovery efforts as well as keep those affected in our prayers. Many of our member organizations are on the ground, assisting those efforts. We ask you to support them with a small or any size donation:

The Islamic Shura Council is an umbrella organization of Mosques and Muslim organizations serving the Muslims of Southern California.
