Only 19 more days until the first day of Spring! Woohoo! I can't pick just one reason I love March. This one month contains so many of my favorite things....it's my baby boy Cade's birthday (he's turning 10!!!), it's about to be spring break, the trees are starting to wake up and everything is blooming, and with temps on the rise, I love to open the windows, flip on some tunes and do some much needed and  therapeutic spring cleaning!
March's Favorite Thing...My Favorite Cleaner- Shaklee Germacide
Since Spring is almost here, it's time to do some deep cleaning! Not sure where to start? I found this spring cleaning checklist from one of my favorite people, Joanna Gaines to help us out.
Now I'm not saying the act of spring cleaning is my
favorite thing about March. But winter is filthy and I sure do love the feeling of a clean, uncluttered space as we come out of our winter hibernation. Here in the Rath house, we've spent the last several weekends spring cleaning, tackling one area of the house at a time, making our keep/donate/trash piles, vacuuming up the spider carcasses and dust bunnies and trying to freshen up our home. And whatever area I'm cleaning, I bring my most favorite all purpose cleaner with me...the Shaklee Basic-G cleaner. This germacide tackles over 60 types of bacteria, fungi and viruses. I use it everywhere....in the kitchen, bathroom, around our various pet areas, and especially in the boys playroom! And it's economical to boot! The Basic-G cleaner is a concentrate and one quart makes up to 64 gallons of the miracle cleaner. Anytime someone in my family is sick, I immediately get my germacide and start spraying the light switches, faucets, handles and railings all over the house. And most of the time, I am able to keep the sickness to just one family member. I call that a win!
***By the way....This is not a commercial for Shaklee. I shamelessly talk about Shaklee to everyone because I LOVE it, and why keep this magic product to myself?!? If you're interested, you can contact me and I'll help you out.***
Whether you decide to try out my favorite cleaner, or you use your own personal fav, now is the time to spend a few hours decluttering, tidying up, cleaning out and freshening up your space. Spring cleaning isn't just good for the home, it's also good for the soul! Check out this article for 5 reasons that will help you get off the couch and into the scrubbing and sorting mood!

Much love and happy cleaning!
