My best of 2016! It morphed over time... 

Whatever it takes to break down financial matters and markets into clear, common sense terms, I will use every tool available to me; text or video, references to and from pop culture or conventional wisdom, social media or old media, it all takes place right here at the ClientFirst Strategy. Inc. email blast zone. I love what I do for a living and it never gets old. And I don't do anything because it's the "tradition" of my industry. I'll openly and honestly sound off on investing mistakes, my own included, and anything helpful or rotten in my industry. It's my passion. I come to you with an open hand, an open ear, and an open heart. It's corny, I know. But I am who I am. People depend on me. It's not a burden, it is the best gift that can be bestowed upon a professional.
These emails and articles started out as notes in a spiral pad in 1990. They morphed into talking points, faxes, emails, and social media posts. Introspect, retrospect, circumspect, it makes no difference; I pour my heart into my writings. You'd think that writing would take time out of my day, but the reality of it is that it supercharges my productivity. A clear mind and conscience are amazing things that I get from writing. It makes be better at my career and in life. When my children are adults, I want them to be proud of my writings. THAT'S how important it is to me.
I am on LinkedIn every day, but I haven't reviewed my profile in a long while. Nothing to change - it still says exactly what I want to say:
