Greetings!
Peep! Peep! Peep! It's that time of year again, the peeper frogs are back. If you have never heard a Peeper before, listen to this. The sound goes through your body and they peep from dust all night long. With a ravine in our backyard, you definitely know what is happening all spring long. The worst frog is this one. Listen to this. He will be active in about a month from now for about 4 - 6 weeks! We cannot even open the windows of the house at night. We have a few live in a pond just below our bedroom window. Yes... nature is nice but the bags under my eyes isn't from hook'n into the late hours. It's those horny toads! Now the princess and frog play set is my kinda frog! It doesn't mock me for when I need to frog my stitches! RIP IT... RIP IT! Happy spring to you and yours! Mikey

Final Week of the Crochet Mystery Adventure
Clue: A group of me is called a 'Tower'
|
Last week made our Crochet Mystery Adventure pretty obvious to some. Others were still thinking abstract and unusual. Congrats if you guessed right!
In the beginning, many were convinced it was a dinosaur, horse, donkey, rhino, dog and many more. As the clues come along, crocheters were starting to figure out exactly what the mystery is. The exciting part are the colours people are trying to come up with at the beginning. I personally think that this was such a fun way to think outside of the box and it doesn't matter what you choose. I just can't wait to see The Crochet Crowd Gallery full of coloured towers of something!
Your mystery creature stands nearly 2 feet tall when done. Today is the final set of clues to bring it all together.
I fell head over heels when I crocheted him back last November. I kept him a secret as I thought our audience would have fun with him. Special thanks to the designer, Michele Wilcox who designed this for Red Heart Yarns. It was a lot of fun!
You now have two weeks to complete your Crochet Mystery Adventure. Many people have opted to do more than one. Each submission is a new entry for the lovely giveaway draw compliments of Red Heart Yarns. I would also like to thank AllFreeCrochet & Stitch & Unwind for being part of our mystery for this spring. It was a new concept for all of us. We would love your feedback if we should do this again in the fall. We have started but if you want to get involved now, you still can. The photo isn't due until May 6th, 2014. Get Hook'n!

Behind the scenes, Cathy sends me links to music videos to cheer me up or to echo a feeling within a moment of time. So for Cathy... here is your song for today! You are very special to Daniel and I. With Summer coming up fast, Picnics are a great way to enjoy the sunshine, life and all it's bounty. Diva Dan loves to go up north to the beautiful Bruce Trails in Ontario which is only about an hour from where we live. His favourite spot is over looking the waters on a cliff near Lion Head, Ontario. He would often take a picnic and have a wonderful lunch enjoying the clean air, and watch the birds fly by. Peace at it's best.
Here are some great ideas to make for your Picnic event.
- Crochet Evaporative Beverage Cooler
- Stunning Fireworks Hexagon Picnic Blanket
- Ripple Luncheon Mats
- Large Crochet Bowl
- Leaf Napkin Rings

Due to popular demand from our fans, I've created several new designs to celebrate the love of crochet.
Introducing the Happy Hooker & Hooker Editions of The Crochet Crowd gifts. Most of us have a warped sense of humour when it comes to crochet.
The bottom right mugs are now the new cups that are being put into the monthly crochet challenges that we do.
You don't have to wait to win one, you can purchase one of these plus many other items with these logos in our Online Gift Shop. Most orders are shipped within 24 hours.
Psst! There are travel mugs, lunch bags, tote bags, hats and much much more to choose from.

The Crochet Crowd is controlled by Michael Sellick and Daniel Zondervan, Creative Directors and Video Hosts. You may find grammatical errors or typos in this newsletter. While we try our very best and we are all human, a few errors may slip between the stitches which only makes this newsletter more interesting. That's our excuse and we are sticking by it.

Editor's Note: To be featured in our Facebook Page is purely like winning the lottery! It is always random and with such a wonderful page of MANY followers we do our best to include as many as we can when time allows us. Also Patterns might not be available. Be kind to those and please support each other by going to the 'recently post by others' page and give everyone a thumbs up or a positive comment. After all, we created this page to give you the chance to inspire others and to support each other with questions. Just like being in School show and tell was always the best time of the day. We love every one of these projects and hope you share that love with others as well.
