NAAB Annual Report Part 1
The NAAB has released Part 1 of the Annual Report.

This part includes information on programs, student enrollment, and degrees awarded for both accredited and candidate programs for AY 2015-2016.

There are 24,456 students enrolled in 155 accredited programs at 123 institutions. This is a 1% increase in enrollment from the prior year.

The percentage of students from underrepresented groups continues to increase. 19% of enrolled students indicated nonresident alien (i.e., foreign); 17% of students indicated Hispanic/Latino.
Request for Images
The NAAB is looking for images of students in studio, in the field, in the classroom, or in the lab.

If you'd like to see images of your students on the NAAB website, please send them to us. Please include information about the people in the photo and the photographer.
2017 Visit Cycle Update
By March 1, the following programs will have concluded their 2017 visits:
  1. University of Michigan
  2. California College of the Arts
  3. Florida Atlantic University
  4. University of South Florida
  5. Auburn University
  6. Florida International University
  7. Miami University (FL)

NAAB  Meeting
The NAAB met February 24-25 in Los Angeles, CA.

On the agenda were 10 accreditation decisions, including three for initial accreditation. Decision letters will be sent on or before March 10.
Team Training Refreshers
Everyone assigned to a team for a spring 2017 visit is expected to complete a refresher webinar prior to starting the visit.

There is one session still on the schedule for spring visits (i.e. visits scheduled March 15-April 12). If you have already attended one, you do not have to register again.

The session starts at 1:00 p.m. ET and lasts about 30 minutes.

Refresher webinars for fall visits will be scheduled for late August and early September.
