Artist Robert Wilson worked closely with The Mountain Goats' John Darnielle to come up with the imagery for this poster set to promote their recent West Coast tour.  Darnielle is a big comic book fan, and much like The Mountain Goats' songs, they wanted to tell a story with the prints-  Robert was a natural fit!

Both prints are 18×24, and are hand-printed by Nakatomi. Featuring florescent pink ink, these prints are signed and numbered by the artist in an edition of 100-  The prints SOLD OUT on tour for the band, and the 25 of each that Nakatomi has for sale are all that's left!

For the last couple of years, we here at Nakatomi have had a great relationship with local consignment shops and galleries both here in Austin and all over the world.  From Tokyo to Edinburgh, from London to Paris, galleries and 'hip' consignment shops have carried our prints to great success. Well, it's time to kick this little program WIDE OPEN.

If you, or someone you know, owns a cool little shop or gallery that you think SHOULD carry our prints, give us a shout though our CONTACT FORM and we'll give them a look!  We have wholesale pricing for shops who want to purchase our in-stock prints outright, and we consider consignment on a case-by-case basis.

We ship product quickly and safely, and keep you stocked when needed!  We started with a small rack of prints at Parts & Labour here in ATX- and within a few short months, the prints had sold so well, they opened up a new shop to sell JUST prints- SHARK ATTACK, which now carries a full range of Nakatomi art-prints and a ton from other local artists!  That's a fairly good testament to how these prints do when you get 'em in front of people!

New Old Prints from the Doyle Library!

We usually always hold back copies of prints for appearances at live in-person events like Flatstock and Renegade Craft Fair as well as when we go selling posters door to door, really confusing everyone.

WELL- instead of sitting on these beauties- we've opened up a small number of copies of these "VAULT" prints to the online community at large, and they're currently available in the TIM DOYLE section of the Nakatomi store! Some qty's on these editions are very limited, so hop on over! Including our 20 remaining copies of the "Murphy It's You" print from the Castro theater screening a few months back, available on Nakatomi for the first time!  Scroll through, pilgrim and pick something up!
