Dear Oregon Nonprofits,
NAO recognizes the challenges all nonprofits face when it comes to offering competitive, affordable, and quality healthcare benefits to employees. As such, we have cultivated a strong, collaborative relationship with Nonstop Administration & Insurance Services, a social mission-based healthcare broker serving the nonprofit community, to co-create a risk-free health insurance program we call Insure Oregon Nonprofits, or ION.
ION is a health insurance program for NAO members with at least 5 employees and up to 50 members on benefits. ION allows for improved, customized plan designs that eliminate employee out-of-pocket costs and ensures premium stability - and in some cases, premium reductions - for our small-to-midsize members. And the best part: Nonstop assumes all of the financial and administrative risk.
While benefit cuts and lay-offs may initially appear to be the only answer to new state regulations and policies such as the minimum wage law, ION and Nonstop offer a better solution - the ability to provide improved benefits for less cost to organizations and their employees. Nonprofits of all sizes now have the opportunity to provide a competitive benefit program to support recruitment and retention efforts without negatively impacting the bottom line.
We strongly encourage our members to explore the ION program in detail to determine if it is a good fit for your organization. Click HERE if you have 5 employees to 50 members on benefits to find out more about ION.

Not a member of NAO? Become a member of Oregon's statewide nonprofit network. We are over 1,100 members strong and would be delighted to help your nonprofit and its staff access the ION program and our other great benefits. Join today!
