Hello October!  Can you believe on we are almost at the end of 2012?Our last meeting was spectacular as NAPW Naples Chapter welcomed new President and Board of Directors.  The new Board would like to wish a heart-filled thanks to Kena Yoke and Angelica Torres for the endless work and service they provided over and above the call of duty.

Our next meeting will be fascinating as you can tell from the picture on the left.  What is the Middle East really like?  Have you ever wondered if what you heard was true?  Well, we are very excited our very own chapter president, Dr. Bonnie Rae will be presenting "The Sultanate of Oman, a Personal Journey" which will be an overview of her two year experience working in the Middle East.  Get to know our new President and take advantage of the opportunity to learn about this area of the world.     

The NAPW Naples Chapter would like to congratulate  May-Wong Chou.  May has been appointed as our new Treasurer!  May-Wong Chou was born in The Netherlands and immigrated to the U.S. at an early age. Her personal experience with the U.S. immigration system has given her a passion for helping those who desire to relocate to the United States. She is an immigration attorney assisting both individuals and corporations.  Please give her a warm welcome!

We would like to thank our September speakers Erika and Byron Donalds for their presentation on "How to Get Involved in the Political Process Any Level."  We appreciated the former Candidate for the 19th District U.S. House of Representatives and his wife, Erika for simplifying the process of local, state, and national levels.  They gave excellent tips on how to stay actively informed which proved to be both educational and relevant given the nation's upcoming election.  Also, Jeff Jerome of Shula's for providing the private dining room, excellent dinner, and outstanding service.

NAPW NAPLES CHAPTER

Membership in the Naples Chapter is a benefit of National Membership.  To be a Naples Chapter member, NAPW National dues must be current.  There are no local Chapter fees or fees for attending the meetings.  We welcome guests to attend two meetings prior to joining NAPW.

As our meetings are held at upscale restaurant facilities that have prepared menus for our Chapter meetings, we strongly encourage RSVP's be submitted up to the day before the meeting, to allow adequate arrangements be made for our group.  Lunch and Dinner reservations should be made by clicking Register Now in the newsletter.
