NORTH COAST DISTRICT IMPORTANT DATES
SIGN UP TODAY!!!
EZRA TRAINING & CHARGE CONFERENCE FORM TRAINING
On Thursday, August 23rd from 1 to 4 p.m. at the District Office, we will be led by Brenda Vaccaro from the EOC office in inputting data into EZRA. The East Ohio Conference Finance office is training Districts one at a time to learn to do this entry and gain access, and we're up! This is important especially in Church Offices as you will learn how to enter all of the Leadership Directory data directly into EZRA for your church (and will allow you to gain access to change information if you have a switch in leadership roles). Please
RSVP (<-- using that blue link) if you are primary completer of Charge Conference Forms or enter data into EZRA (for Year-End Reports, too). We will also talk about Charge Conference forms in general when Brenda is done with her part of the presentation. ** Please note that the training will take place in Summit Three Auditorium (it is an adjacent building to the one the District office is in with ample seating and good wifi!). Directions will be sent out next week to all those who RSVP'd.
I realize that the Thursday time might be challenging for those of you have second jobs, or simply chaotic days at the office during regular business hours. If the Thursday afternoon will not work for you, I will be available on
Saturday, August 25th from 9:30 to 11/11:30 a.m. to do a training on forms, and may be able to briefly touch on EZRA entry only for Leadership Directory data (not End of Year reports). Use the same RSVP link above to respond.
CHARGE CONFERENCE
The date and locations have been set! Mark your calendars now for
Saturday, November 10th. The
East Side churches will meet at 9 a.m. at Aldersgate UMC. The
West Side churches will meet at 1 p.m. at Berea UMC. Not sure where you fall in that geographical line-up? Click
HERE.
Just a reminder that Omnibus forms will be due two weeks prior to the Charge Conference, which means October 27th.

Greetings to all East Ohio Local Pastors and Associate Members !
Attached
HERE
is the flyer and registration form for our annual pastor retreat at Lakeside. Sue Nillson Kibbey will be our retreat prayer leader. Come to Lakeside and spend time relaxing and in prayer by the lake.
You will find Lakeside to be a much quieter place during that week in August. So come and enjoy a personal time out before the Fall rush.
Lakeside has reduced the cost for all of us and financial support from West Ohio and East
Ohio has made it possible to include meals as part of the retreat.
