The Face of Prayer
On Divine Mercy   Sunday, Bishop Caggiano announced an exciting new movement - The Face of Prayer - an online crusade that brings together social media, text alerts, and the power of prayer.

Are you willing to pray with the Bishop Caggiano every day? Text a selfie, your prayer intention, or the word "pray" to 55778 and join in the journey as we learn more about the power of prayer. Participants will receive a daily prayer intention from the bishop that ends with a call to prayer. The goal of the campaign is to have thousands of people - especially our young church - praying each day alongside the Bishop as we grow together in holiness. Be the face of prayer and join today.

Open Your Heart and Home to a Notre Dame International Student
ND has two agencies looking for host families: AIEP and EduBoston.

AIEP
A welcoming family is needed to host International students that will attend Notre Dame arriving in August for the upcoming 2017-2018 school year. As a host family, you will offer an international student the opportunity to discover America through your eyes throughout the school year. Your family will not only gain a new family member, but will also learn about a different culture, its values and tradition, language, food and more.

Interested Host Families would be required to provide their student with meals, transportation to/from school (busing and carpooling where available), and a private bedroom. To offset the costs of hosting, a generous monthly stipend in the amount of $1,000 per student is offered - Host Families may host up to 2 students of the same gender.

All students studying in the U.S. are required to undergo a detailed application process including a one-one-one SKYPE interview with an AIEP staff member, English proficiency testing, medical pre-screening and other application requirements for the schools they will be attending.

AIEP is our partnered professional agency that specializes in guardianship and homestay programs for international students.

If you are interested in learning more about becoming an AIEP host family, please contact AIEP at 203.992.2437 or visit www.aiepusa.com.

Please mention you saw this notice or heard about AIEP through our school . For every family that signs up with AIEP, is accepted into the program and is assigned a student(s), AIEP will give our school a $500 referral.

EduBoston
As we look ahead at the next Academic Year, we are reaching out to you, your friends and family asking if you would consider being a Host Family to the student who is very far away from home. In addition,  EduBoston offers generous compensation packages to their carefully selected host families.

EduBoston has made it simple for you to contact their Host Family Service Center, or to refer a friend or family member who may be interested. This is a wonderful opportunity to explore the world right from your home. We encourage you to learn more about hosting an EduBoston student. Contact EduBoston's Host Family Service Representative Rebecca Tyler at 617-208-8544, email [email protected] or visit http://www.eduboston.com for more information.
