ND Celebrates Veterans Day 2016

The Notre Dame community gathered in the Sacred Heart University Chapel of the Holy Spirit  on Friday morning, Veteran's Day, for the school's annual Veteran's Day Prayer Service. Mr. David Vayda, father of Anthony Vayda '20, shared his very moving experience as a member of the US Navy and received a standing ovation from the student body. We were also pleased to welcome Stephen Cavallo '65 (Army) and his wife Diane and Zandra and Stephen Sookoo, parents of Ila Sookoo '19, who are both Navy veterans.
