For those who couldn't join us for the NEFLIN Technology Conference (and you know who you are) we had a great day of fun and learning. The event was so popular that we had to increase capacity to accommodate 125 library staff.
Here is a link to all the presentations that were given, and some photos of the event (Thanks, Jae!).

Summer Fun
|
Let NEFLIN help your library have some summer fun! Borrow our gaming equipment (Kinect, Wii, Xbox, or Guitar Hero) to host an afternoon of gaming to get kids out of the heat. They will love our new Xbox Kinect title " Wipeout 3" based on the long running TV show Wipeout. We can also provide projectors and projector screens to run multiple games at the same time. Another way to beat the heat is to borrow the NEFLIN Canopy. This large tent seats 75 people in the shade. It is great for any event that you would like to hold outdoors this summer.

Who Knew? Libraries Are Still (More!) Relevant in the Digital Age!
|
Wednesday, August 7, 9:30 am - 3:30 pm
NEFLIN in Orange Park
More than ever, libraries are still relevant in the digital age. You know this, but sadly our funders don't always seem to realize this and it's costing libraries precious operating dollars every single year.
The central theme of this workshop will be focused on engaging your community and supporters in a politically powerful marketing campaign that will show even the most strident anti-tax zealot that investment in libraries will get them the best return on investment that money can buy.
In addition, think about the most challenging issues you are facing with your library - we'll discuss these and get expert advice from all those present. You won't leave disappointed!
Friends, Board members and Trustees are invited to register to attend with you.
Trainer: Sally Gardner Reed, Executive Director of United for Libraries
