Crossways Bible Study will start up again in September at two locations, Messiah, Akron,  4700 S. Main Street (330-644-5766) on Monday evenings at 7:00 pm and Northeastern Ohio Synod, 1890 Bailey Road, Cuyahoga Falls (330-929-9022) on Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm.  The classes will begin on Monday, September 14 at Messiah and Thursday, September 17 at the synod office.  Both classes will be 30 sessions and will cover the same material: The Intertestamental  Period and New Testament Period using Crossways manuals number 4, 5 and 6 and are available at www.crossways.org or 800-257-7308.  Pastor Landis Coffman will be teaching the classes that are open to all.  For more information or to register please call Pastor Coffman at (h) 330-666-0782 or (c) 330-608-3510.

Crossways helps you find answers to these questions.  This comprehensive study of the Bible covers every book of the Old and New Testaments.  It is designed to cover 2 years of study, broken down into 6 sections.  Each section has an accompanying student book and workbook which cost $20 for the set.  This course does not run continuously for 2 years.  Breaks from class are taken in conjunction with the school year.  This class is open to anyone of high school age and older.  Participants should bring their own Bible.

Lutheran World Relief Ingathering .  The 2015 Lutheran World Relief Ingathering will be Saturday, October 17, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday, October 18, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.  The box trailer will again be in the parking lot of Jerusalem Lutheran Church (9282 Acme Road, Seville, Ohio) to receive the health kits, school kits, quilts, etc. for L.W.R.   For more information, please call Jerusalem at 330-336-4770 or email:  [email protected].  We look forward to seeing you for this event.
 
Hymn Festival.   As part of its 175th Anniversary, Zion, Wooster invites you to be a part of a special service of music and worship. An Evening of Praise and Thanksgiving - a hymn festival presented by David Cherwien and Susan Palo
Cherwien will take place on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary. The 30th Annual Festival Celebration of the Reformation will take place on Sunday, October 25, at 7:00 pm at St Paul's, Alliance. Guest preacher will be The Rev. Abraham Allende , Bishop of the Northeastern Ohio Synod .   This annual celebration of the Reformation is a ministry of the seven congregations of the eastern cluster of the Canton-Massillon conference. Church Pew.  First, Beach City has a surplus church pew.  It is solid oak with a light, natural finish.  The overall measurements are length 11 ½ feet and height 33 ½ inches.  Comfortable seat dimensions are 16 inches deep by 18 inches high.  It is in good condition.  Please make an offer.  Contact Larry McGrath at [email protected] or call 330-756-2185.
