Lutheran-Catholic Advent 2015 Scripture Reflections.
The Lutheran-Catholic Covenant Commission invites Catholics and Lutherans to use We Wait Together for the Lord: Resources for Discussion and Reflection Advent 2015 for personal or group discussion and reflection. This ecumenical resource for prayerful reflection on the Sunday Readings Advent Year C is included as an attachment to this newsletter. Reprint permission is granted.
The Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration Service
will be held at Prince of Peace, Westlake on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. The Theme is "Remembering the Journey." The Rev. George Hrbek will be the speaker and the offering will be given to Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry's Community Re-entry. Bishop Abraham Allende will speak toward the end of the service. The church is located at 28455 Center Ridge Road.
