Lutheran-Catholic Advent 2015 Scripture Reflections.  The Lutheran-Catholic Covenant Commission invites Catholics and Lutherans to use We Wait Together for the Lord: Resources for Discussion and Reflection Advent 2015 for personal or group discussion and reflection.  This ecumenical resource for prayerful reflection on the Sunday Readings Advent Year C is included as an attachment to this newsletter.  Reprint permission is granted.
 
The Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration Service will be held at Prince of Peace, Westlake on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at 3:30 p.m.  The Theme is "Remembering the Journey."  The Rev. George Hrbek will be the speaker and the offering will be given to Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry's Community Re-entry.  Bishop Abraham Allende will speak toward the end of the service.  The church is located at 28455 Center Ridge Road. 

Handbell Set - Best Offer.  Grace, Cleveland Heights will be closing by the end of November and has the following Schulmerich English Handbell set:
Five-octave set ( 61 bells (refurbished in 2006) with 9 cases), three-octave set of Melody Chimes (37 chimes, 2 cases), tables, foam, covers, lights, binders, mallets, riser, tool kit, and music library (mostly sacred; a few secular). Price if bought new (without the music library) $29,455.

Free To A Good Home.  Bethesda On The Bay, Bay Village, has an altar that is available free of charge to any congregation in need.  The altar is approximately 10 foot long by 3 ½ foot wide made of light colored (possibly pecan) wood.  If interested please contact the church office at 440-871-2276.
