We managed to schedule some classes with
instructor Nancy Sapin. Nancy is a
Freelance National Educator representing Sulky of America. She creates beautiful projects and shares her wealth of information as an awesome teacher. The first class we have on the calendar is "Pinweaving Portraits" scheduled for May 6. More information on this class soon. Here is a sneak peak at some of Nancy's pinweaving.
This is a purse that was worn by one of our customers last week. The center is paper-pieced and there are decorative stitches on the borders. I didn't do a very good job of taking pictures but I thought it was so unique!
I played with a few new CLP patterns and some of our new fabrics this week. This fabric line is "Sweet Marion" by April Rosenthal for Moda Fabrics. The CLP pattern is SO quick and easy. It's called "Stone Path Table Runner." The picture fro the pattern is also below. I think I'll bind it in gray.
Then I made this one called "Flying Star Wall Hanging or Table Topper" which is also a CLP pattern. I used Lori Holt fabrics from Riley Blake.
This line is selling like crazy!
I love all the quilt sayings. Linda made us a sample and a customer is making the sewing machine quilt which is a companion pattern. Isn't it going to be beautiful?
