Lots of Spark Model news for you today: Our first April shipment has arrived and the second one should be here in about a week. Lots of good stuff in there, including the 1/18 scale Jim Clark Lotus 25, the 68 LeMans winning Ford GT and the 75 Daytona winning Brumos Porsche, both in 1/43 scale.

Today we received confirmation of a dozen additional new models from Spark, Bizarre and TrueScale that are due to arrive in about a month. Some great stuff in there too, including a 1/43 scale Ayrton Senna Camel Lotus T99 from the Reve Collection and the 1/43 McLaren MP4-12C GT3 Presentation Car from TSM seen in today's banner.

As you may have noticed (especially with recent Minichamps releases), we're starting to see significant price increases on everything coming out of China. Lots of factors behind this, all out of our control. We're doing our best to hold the line on costs but you can help us greatly by reserving your models in advance whenever possible. We persuaded the US Spark distributor to give us better information on incoming shipments, which has been much more helpful than the Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4 nonsense we've all had to endure forever. We will continue to push our suppliers to keep us better informed of happenings in this bizarre little hobby of ours. 

Lots of positive response to our selection of out of print books in our Secondary Market section. We'll be adding a few more titles (LeMans related) by the weekend. We've also added a rare framed copy of 'Miami' by Nicholas Watts to the Artwork list in that section. 'Miami' was one of the popular motorsport limited edition prints of the 1980s. Each copy was hand-signed by both Al Holbert and Derek Bell and features the iconic Lowenbrau Porsche 962. We'll be adding additional items to that section soon as well.

Speaking of the Lowenbrau Porsche 962, you may remember GMP announcing a 1/8 scale model to follow up on their their 'sold out' Gurney Eagle F1 car and stunning Ferrari P4 prototype. As you know, GMP no longer exists. But you still may be able to add a 1/8 scale Porsche or Ferrari to your collection.
