WHAT TO DO WITH ALL THAT ZUCCHINI?
Even if you don't have the greenest of thumbs, chances are, if you have a vegetable garden, you may already have loads of zucchini. You'll undoubtedly see zucchini at both Newton Farmers' Markets this week, and may pass it by because, let's face it, zucchini isn't exactly the sexiest of vegetables. So, here are a couple of recipes that are so darn good that you'll be hunting for that perfect zucchini! Do you have any favorite recipes using farmers' market produce? Share them with us so we can add them to our Facebook page!
You don't need to add chocolate chips to get a great cookie made with zucchinis, and this recipe proves it. If you like your cookies a bit cake-like and spicy, this may just be the perfect cookie for you!
Crunchy and healthy, these baked zucchini coins easily replace french fries as a go- to family favorite.
CAN YOU HARD BOIL FRESH EGGS?
No two ways about it, fresh, organic eggs taste way better than what you can pick up at the grocery store. Did you know that grocery store eggs may be sitting in that carton for one month before you buy them? But, we've always heard that fresh eggs can't be hard-boiled. Well, after consulting the eggsperts, we now know you can hard boil farm fresh eggs. Just click here to learn how!

You can purchase Pete & Jen's amazing organic fresh eggs at the Saturday market on Elm Street from Newton Community Farm!
LASZLO FAMILY FARM JOINS BOTH MARKETS
DOG TREATS & HERITAGE MEATS
If you can't make it to the Saturday market, you can now pick up Laszlo Family Farm products for man & beast at Cold Spring Park, too! Its A+ quality heritage meats, including Navajo-churro lamb and Gloucestershire Old Spot pork were a huge hit with our shoppers last Saturday! And word is out among Newton's dog owners that our furry friends will do pretty much anything for a Sitzens dog treat. Laszlo Family Farm breeds livestock considered threatened or critically endangered by the Livestock Conservancy .
