21st-Century Healthcare Revolution

A technology-driven healthcare revolution has been shifting control from the hands of institutions and physicians back into the hands of the patients for the past 40 years. This revolution appears to partially mirror the institutional revolution that took place in the early 1900s with the creation of medical schools and hospitals. Prior to that time we were born at home and died at home.

The certification of physicians limited those who could practice, and the advent of hospitals took the control out of the hands of the patients and put it in the hands of the experts. Now this trend is reversing. Patients are looking for complementary alternatives to traditional medicine. These patient-driven incentives enhanced by technology are changing the way we experience and practice medicine in the 21st century...

 Healing Fibromyalgia-Chronic Fatigue-ME World Telesummit
The NFA is proud to partner with Leah McCullough, affectionately known as The Fibro Lady, for this FREE opportunity to learn about natural recovery from fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue and ME. This is the first-ever event of its kind. Twelve experts, who have helped people reach their goals in different aspects of natural recovery, will share their knowledge on immediate ways to relieve pain, cope while you are still sick, and increase your energy. All of this is designed to help you take your life back.

IMPORTANT: This is not a training that's going to tell you it's all in your head, you don't really want to be well, or you just need to exercise more. In fact, one expert will share about when it is NOT appropriate to exercise with fibromyalgia. This training is going to focus on natural recovery options you probably have never heard of, using items you may already have or that are easily available, and it will provide the steps you need to get started on your healing journey.

Also, in the telesummit is a special interview with the NFA's founder and past-president, Lynne Matallana, so reserve your spot today for this complimentary, live 3-day virtual training that will be held January 26-28, 2016. Included in your free registration is an exclusive special report by Leah McCullough, "The #1 Food for Energy and 3 Easy Ways to Get It into Your Diet," in which she reveals this sacred but often forgotten food.
It is all about information, resources and action you can use in your life today to begin the recovery process. Everyone is welcome, so feel free to invite your family and friends.
Can Pain & Intimacy  Coexist?

Intimacy is a normal part of life; however, for those with chronic pain, it is often an issue. According to pain experts, patients report that one of the most frustrating aspects of intimacy is the lack of dialogue around pain and intimacy.

There is still time to be part of the discussion. Take The NEW! Fibromyalgia AWARE magazine's Fibromyalgia Intimacy Survey! The results will be discussed in Issue 3.
