Welcome to NH Interfaith Power and Light!

We are pleased to announce that New Hampshire has joined Interfaith Power and Light as a certified affiliate. With a small but enthusiastic steering committee and NH Council of Churches as our fiscal agent, NH IPL joined 39 other state affiliates of Interfaith Power and Light which is headquartered in Oakland, CA. With our affiliation, we can take advantage of grants and resources from national as we begin our work in earnest here in NH. Read more below about our plans and opportunities! Earth Care Film Series

All Saints Episcopal Church, Wolfeboro is sponsoring an Earth Care Film Series in partnership with the local community theater group, The Village Players. The first Saturday of the next 4 months leading up to Earth Day will feature an award winning film from Interfaith Power and Light's low cost film collection. First up is Love Thy Nature narrated by Liam Neeson on Jan. 4 at 7pm followed by discussion. Cool Congregations

Portfolio Manager Workshop

Interfaith Power and Light's Cool Congregations program is designed to help congregations "walk the talk" by reducing their own carbon footprint. One of the first steps is to gather energy use data to establish a benchmark. Participants in this Portfolio Manager workshop will set up an account for their house of worship and enter energy data and energy usage data to guide the ways to effectively reduce their carbon footprint and measure the outcomes.
