June 27, 6:00 p.m.: New Hampshire Health Care Forum
Heath Care ForumJoin us as the state's gubernatorial candidates meet in a moderated forum to discuss their position on health care in New Hampshire.

 

Candidates Jackie Cilley (D), Maggie Hassan (D), Bill Kennedy (D), Ovide Lamontagne (R), and Kevin Smith (R) will face a panel of health care professionals.

 

The forum will be moderated by Dr. Cynthia Cooper, President of the N.H. Medical Society. Douglas Dean, President and CEO of Elliot Health System, Dianne Mercier, People's United Bank President for N.H., Joseph Pepe, MD, Interim President and CEO of Catholic Medical Center and Lisa Guertin, Plan President of Anthem BC/BS of N.H. will serve as panelists.

SAVE THE DATE: Fall Granite State Debate Series
WMUR logoThe Institute will again partner with WMUR-TV and the New Hampshire Union Leader to host two series of the Granite State Debates before the September primary and again just before the November general election.

 

The Institute will host both the Republican and Democrat primary gubernatorial candidates on Sept. 5 and 6. The second series of Granite State Debates with the gubernatorial and congressional candidates will be held on Oct. 29, 30, and Nov. 1.

 

The debates will be presented live on WMUR-TV.

BIAThe Institute is also partnering with the Business and Industry Association, New Hampshire Public Television, New Hampshire Public Radio and the New Hampshire Union Leader, to host a second series of general election gubernatorial and congressional debates on Sept. 18, 19, and 20.

New Hampshire Primary Exhibit Opens
NHIOP & PLThe New Hampshire Institute of Politics & Political Library invites you to our newest exhibit opening June 25. The exhibit will feature items from the Political Library's collection illustrating past New Hampshire Primaries, particularly, the relationships between candidates and the state's politicians, voters, and key activists.

 

The exhibit will be open for viewing starting June 25, Monday -Thursday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

  

The New Hampshire Institute of Politics and Political Library is always looking to add unique pieces of historic political memorabilia to the collection. Please email NHIOP@anselm.edu or call (603) 222-4100 if you would like to make a donation to the Political Library.
