For years and years, some of our insurance partners have accepted slight data discrepancies like 'Suzanne' is submitted as 'Sue' or 'Johnson' is submitted as 'JohnsEn', etc.
However, moving forward, most insurance companies will not accept these data errors and will now start denying those member's reimbursements after all these years.
As a club, please be advised that it's very important to correct member data. It is the club responsibility to check your monthly "Reimbursement History Reports" each and every month, so you can stay on top of the corrections needed. Please let your members know that they need to enter the insurance information as it appears on their insurance card. NOTE: Some insurance cards can be the nickname of the member vs their real name. So again, please enter the information from their card.
