For years and years, some of our insurance partners have accepted slight data discrepancies like 'Suzanne' is submitted as 'Sue' or 'Johnson' is submitted as 'JohnsEn', etc. 

However, moving forward, most insurance companies will not accept these data errors and will now start denying those member's reimbursements after all these years.  As a club, please be advised that it's very important (it always has been) to type and correct member data that you are submitting for reimbursement.  It is the club responsibility to check your monthly Reimbursement History Reports each and every month so you can stay on top of the corrections needed.  Let your members know that they need to enter their information as it appears on their insurance card.  It needs to be accurate data going forward.

Automatic Resubmits

BCBS of North Dakota will do an automatic resubmit of Nov & Dec 2017 workouts on the March file.  If you had BCBSND members that error-ed out because they hadn't completed their 2018 Authorization, then these will now be captured.  On the March file, we will automatically resubmit Nov, Dec and Jan workouts.  So the past THREE months will automatically resubmit for those clubs who specifically have BCBSND members that 
error-ed out. 

Hint of the Month:  
Before you submit monthly workouts, check your Pending Approval folder   FIRST !  If you have members sitting in your Pending Approval folder, go into each members profile and check the
VERIFIED box and then click  Save and Approve for each member BEFORE you submit.
