Monarch Butterfly at Reeves-Reed Arboretum

In This Issue

From the Executive Director

Dear Friends,

Reeves-Reed Arboretum has just been selected as the Best Garden in New Jersey by readers of NJ Family Magazine.  Often called the "essential source" for NJ parents, this extraordinary recognition, from NJ Family, is an acknowledgment of the dedication and passion our staff and trustees bring in support of our mission to engage, educate and enrich.  Needless to say, we are dazzled and delighted by this honor.

And another essential part of that winning equation is you.  RRA has long been a favorite site to visit.  The ever increasing numbers of visitors to the grounds and at our events bears that out.  You have chosen us - we are here because you are there for us.  But the truth is that public gardens must do something in order to interest and engage you.  By our actions, we must create an "urgency" or reason to visit. And the more we focus on that urgency, delighting our customers, the better our product (service).

To borrow a phrase from an Emily Dickinson poem, truth dazzles, and in the glow of this recognition, we here at RRA are a reflection of your light.
