Under the direction of the Camp Director, follows weekly calendar of activities to ensure children have a positive, fun, safe experience while at the camp program.

• Maintains daily attendance records and ensures that information flyers are distributed to parents.
• Follows weekly calendar of activities.
• Deals with any behavioral issues or problems within the YWCA philosophy and reports any issues or concerns to Camp Director. Interacts with parents as required.
• Ensures that program site is clean, organized and meets the needs of the children.
• Completes required paperwork in a timely fashion.
• Attends initial camp orientation and weekly staff meetings.
• Ensures that children are placed safely with their parent/guardian at the end of each day, requesting identification from unknown individuals.
• Accompanies children to pool/lake for swimming and assists with swim instruction and locker room procedures. Comes prepared to swim each day.

Job Summary:
The Early Learning Center of Upper Saddle River is currently seeking candidates to work as Childcare Providers.

Candidates must be able to provide a warm, nurturing, safe and stimulating environment for infants through six years of age.

Responsibilities:

• Understands and supports the mission of the YWCA of Bergen County.
• Under the supervision of the Director of Early Childhood Programs, the child care provider will provide an environment that is in keeping with sound principles of child development and encourage participation of children in various activities.
• Prepare materials used by the children in activities.
• Share information or concerns about the children with the Director.
• Assist in the maintenance of up to date required records of children.
• Attend staff meetings, in service workshops and professional meetings.
• Establish and maintain good communication with parents on a daily informal basis.
• Report all maintenance concerns, including any broken equipment to the Director.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Located in Bloomfield, NJ, Kids Corner is a professional full-time preschool, as well as a high quality before and afterschool childcare and enrichment program for children grades K-5. Currently, Kids Corner is seeking a quality driver for their before and afterschool programs. Candidates should review the following information prior to applying:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and/or three to five (3-5) years of managerial or supervisory experience as a YMCA program director or school age child care director (or educational institution, business, program, or agency related to children).
• A plus - experience in an aquatics environment.
• Must be extremely organized and detail oriented, be able to work in a very hectic environment; be self-motivated; and have experience supervising people.
• A working knowledge of the computer especially Microsoft Office Suite (Windows environment).
• Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
• A professional image and the ability to work harmoniously with staff, members and the community are imperative.
