Join us for our March Roundtable on Thursday, March 3 at 7pm at St. Therese School, 7207 MO-9, Kansas City, MO.

Merit Badge Counselor Training will also be held during the March Roundtable. A schedule of merit badge trainings will be published in the next District News.
 
NL District Pinewood Derby

Thank you to all of our volunteers, parents, and racers who made our first District Pinewood Derby a success! 43 cub scouts and their families participated in the exciting race.

Boy Scout Pool Party
March 16 - Parkville YMCA

Join us for our first annual Boy Scout Pool Party!

When: March 16th 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Where: Parkville YMCA (8875 Clark Ave, Parkville, MO 64152)
Cost: $5 at the door per youth participant

Bring your patrols and have fun relaxing in the water. You can work on merit badges, practice strokes for camp, work on 1st Class requirements, or just enjoy the water with your patrol.

Must be a registered Boy Scout to attend. 
(Cub Scouts,stay tuned for an activity this summer.)

Webelos Woods - Please RSVP
April 9-10, Heartland Center

Join us for a weekend of fun and get to know your local Boy Scout Troops. Activities include: sling shots, first responder training, pioneering, geocaching, sportsman, totin' chip, and more!

When: April 9, 7:30am - April 10, 10:00am
Where: Heartland Center, 16965 Mo-45, Parkville, MO  
Cost: $15 per Scout/Scouter, $10 unit fee.
How: Registration taken at Webelos Woods.

Registration Fees: 
$65/youth: Earlybird through April 27
$75/youth: April 28 - June 12
$80/youth: At camp

We are looking for staff to assist us with our Day Camp!

We are in particular need of Range Safety Officers for our shooting sports and Boy Scouts and Venturers over 14 to facilitate programs.

All youth and adult members of the Northern Lights District are welcome to attend the District Committee and Commissioner Meetings. We discuss various areas of district operations to create fun, safe, and successful programs for our youth.
