NORTH STATE BIA POSTS JULY SALES NUMBERS

ROSEVILLE - A total of 375 new homes were sold during July in the greater Sacramento region, the North State Building Industry Association reported today. The sales were reported in 145 subdivisions in the six-county Greater Sacramento region from Marysville and Yuba City in the north to Galt in the south.  In addition, 13,779 people visited active new-home communities last month.

BIA President and CEO Michael Strech said the sales and traffic figures demonstrate the demand for new homes continues to grow.

"Sales are tracking similar to where they were last year, but we saw higher traffic, which tells us that homebuyers are actively out looking for homes, and we expect to see the traffic continue to grow, " Strech said.
