NORTH STATE BIA RELEASES JULY SALES NUMBERS

ROSEVILLE - The North State BIA issued its July new home sales report, which showed homebuilders put together yet another solid month of sales. July's numbers totaled 387 sales with 154 communities reporting, compared to 386 sales from 151 communities in June.

"Our industry continues to see strong sales throughout the region ,"  said Andy Davidson, the BIA Chair and VP of Construction with Anton Development Company. "While the growth we're experiencing is nowhere near pre-Recession levels, we feel good about its sustained upward trajectory. Even with our solid sales numbers, there's certainly no question that we have a long way to go as it relates to producing enough new homes to maintain affordability for potential homebuyers. But we remain confident that we will continue to improve our output and sales over the next few months."
Historic July Sales
This July far outpaced last July, with 121 more sales year over year.
Number of Communities on the Rise
The number of communities reporting sales in the greater Sacramento region has continued to increase over the last several months. July's decade long trend bears that out.
