The Office of Residence Life and Housing is proud to share that two Wake Forest students and one Wake Forest staff member have been recognized as follows for the month of November 2017:
- Shelby Halliman, a second-year RA in Luter Hall, was named North Carolina's Resident Adviser of the Month
- Jakayla Williams, the president of Wake Forest's chapter of the National Residence Hall Honorary, was named North Carolina's Executive Board Member of the Month
- Sarah Magness, Residence Life Coordinator for South Campus and advisor to the Wake Forest chapter of the National Residence Hall Honorary, was named North Carolina's Advisor of the Month
The Wake Forest Chapter of the National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) recognized these individuals and then submitted their nominations to NCARH. The North Carolina Association of Residence Halls (NCARH) chooses winners each month based on submissions from universities across the state.
Halliman is a Communications and Film Studies double major from Southlake, Texas. Williams, from Lincolnton, North Carolina, is an Anthropology major. Magness, joined the Wake Forest team after finishing her graduate studies at Appalachian State University.
