In order to participate in Summer Youth Works! 2017,
students must meet the following criteria: 
  • Reside in Berkeley, Charleston, or Dorchester County
  • Be an 11 th grader taking College Preparation classes or 
  • B e a 12th grader planning to attend college in the Fall semester of 2017 or
  • B e a currently-enrolled college student at any accredited community, junior or four-year college who will be living in the Tri-county area between mid-May and early August and will be returning to college in the Fall semester of 2017.

*If you are a high school senior planning to attend college, you will be required to provide your letter of acceptance from the college you will be attending.*  

 

*Some positions are based on the income eligibility of the student's family.*

Summer Youth Works! 2017
applications must be received
no later than 5pm on Friday, April 28th.

Summer Youth Works! is a highly competitive program. Candidates who will be selected to advance to the initial interview round will be contacted through e-mail, text message or Facebook. Please respond timely to secure your spot.

Qualifying candidates will then be required to complete their assessment meeting, background check and drug screen by May 10th in order to advance to the next round of interviews.
