President's Message:

Greetings Chapter members!

I
know that everyone is happy to be done with the May Elections! I know I am! I hope all goes well for our clerks who have runoff elections this month.

The NTMCA Board is already starting to plan for next year, and we will be looking for meeting hosts (our fiscal year runs from October 1 through September 30). If you have never been a host or would like to host again, please reach out to Carol Borges. In addition to scheduling our meetings, please start thinking about Committee service for around the 2016-2017 year. Our Chapter is all about our members, and we depend on you to support the association and continue to bring new ideas and initiatives to our group through service on our Committees. How will you serve?

Hoping that this rain stops soon and that you all have a fabulous summer!

Don't forget that Art has his membership drive going and has numerous incentives in place. If you attend a meeting, BRING A NEW CLERK! You will receive extra points and will have a better chance of winning prizes that will be awarded at our August meeting! (See more details below.)

Hope to see everyone in Carrollton on June 8th for our annual awards luncheon. We will be announcing our NTMCA Clerk of the Year, our TMCA nomination for Clerk of the Year, and will be awarding our 2016 Alyce Deering Scholarships. We will also be recognizing all of our committee members for all of their hard work this year. Please join us!

Meeting Reservations

Members we need your help!

In order to be able to provide food for all that attend our monthly meetings, we need to know who will be attending, so please let us know your intentions by the RSVP date.  Deadlines are included in the invitation, and on the meeting webpage.

The best way to take care of this is to plan to attend all of the meetings and RSVP when you receive the invite!

Thank you for your cooperation!
Mary Supino, President
Calendar Wheels
These wheels are an excellent tool for counting deadlines with ease and precision.  They are great for calendaring events/tasks associated with elections, requests for public information, budget, public hearings, legal notices, etc.

The calendar wheels will be available at the monthly meetings for $5.00 each. Monies raised from the sale of the calendar wheels will benefit the Alyce Deering Scholarship Fund. The calendar wheels come in two colors-purple and green.

If you are not at a monthly meeting, and would like to purchase a calendar wheel, please contact Monica Solko at 817.427.6062 or via e-mail [email protected].
