33rd Annual Juried National Show

JULY 16 – Notification of Acceptance Status will go out
Thank you to all the talented artists that entered! There were a record number of artists and entries. I don’t envy our juror, Bob Burridge — he has his work cut out for him!

As you probably have figured out, this show is not only NVAL’s effort to put on a great exhibit, but also is a major fund-raiser for us. We receive no outside funding….. So thank you again!!!

NVAL Critique Night – every 4th Wednesday

The first NVAL Critique Night was a big success. So many positive comments! Lots of learning going on at NVAL Critque Night.  Come join in!!

Learn, improve your art and have fun at the same time. Let's make this a tradition!

Bring in some of your work for constructive analysis. This will be a non-threatening, learning experience designed to benefit all who attend.

CLASSES ARE ONGOING - START ANYTIME

Tuesdays, 12:30pm - 3:30pm at NVAL
Cost is $15 per class. Payment is due at each session.
If you are interested in the class,
call Judy at 222-8491. 

Judy will show you how to manipulate and control charcoal and pastel. You will be the boss! The fear of drawing portraits will vanish! You will feel confident and build skill quickly.  The classes will explore so many ways to draw people and will take the mystery out of creating portraits.

17th Annual Mt. Lassen Art Show
The Mt. Lassen Art Center presents the 17thth annual Mt. Lassen Art Show July 7 and 8th, 2018. The show will be from 10 AM to 6 PM both Saturday and Sunday.

Located at 36373 State Highway 44 in Viola, CA.
The art center is located 11 miles east of the Shingletown Store and 7 miles west of the North Entrance to Lassen Volcanic National Park on Hwy 44 at the east end of Scharsch Meadow at Viola. 

This is a FREE public event for all ages and families.
