ALBANY... The New York Republican State Committee today announced Arcadio Casillas of New York City as the new Chair of the State Party Finance Committee.

Arcadio Casillas is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Preferred Compensation Corporation, a leading insurance, benefits, consulting and brokerage firm based in New York City.

Having come to the Unites States at a very young age from Communist Cuba, Mr. Casillas has lived the American Dream as a driven and creative entrepreneur. He has served as the NYGOP's Metro Regional Finance Chair since 2013.

"The Republican Party is the Party of small business and the Party of economic growth and opportunity," said Arcadio Casillas.

"New York is at a crossroads: we are the most taxed, most regulated, least business-friendly, least economically free, least personally-free state in America. The values espoused by the Republican Party - lower taxes, less regulation, limited government, personal responsibility -- are the best means of preserving the American Dream for new Americans and their children."

"It's important to have a State Party Chair that has a clear message and has the ability to raise money across the State. Ed Cox is a phenomenal State Chair. Working alongside him and his team has been a pleasure, and I'm excited to be promoting our ideals in an increased capacity."

"I am honored and deeply grateful that Arcadio has agreed to serve the State Party as Finance Committee Chair," said NYGOP Chair Ed Cox.

"Arcadio Casillas is an outstanding example of an American success story. He has overcome more obstacles than most individuals will ever face in their lifetime and has done so with courage, grace and fortitude."
