CyberCareers.gov Website is Launched
The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) just launched the CyberCareers.gov website. This site is a user-friendly portal aimed at recruiting, hiring, developing, and retaining top cybersecurity talent while building the cybersecurity workforce pipeline needed for government positions. User feedback is encouraged to improve functionality and enhance the interface experience.

The State of Federal Cybersecurity
Millions of Americans suffered some kind of cyber threat in 2016. DHS Announces Funding Opportunity 
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate announced $35 million in funding opportunities for a new DHS Center of Excellence for Cross-Border Threat Screening and Supply Chain Defense. Accredited U.S. colleges and universities can submit proposals. Funding opportunities are posted here. The deadline to submit proposals is August 4.
