First Annual CyberCon Four Corners

Today every business, educational institution, and organization operates in the digital marketplace. While the digital marketplace has opened a new world of opportunity it has also opened the door to a vast array of cyber threats that are constantly changing and becoming more sophisticated. In order to equip businesses and organizations to handle these threats San Juan College is proud to announce the First Annual CyberCon Four Corners: Security and the Digital Marketplace.
 
In addition to the two featured speakers the conference will be packed with numerous breakout sessions on topics such as:

NIST Funding Opportunity 

National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)
is pleased to announce funding on behalf of the
National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE)
 to build multistakeholder workforce partnerships of employers, schools and institutions of higher education, and other community organizations.

Applicants must be non-profit organizations including institutions of higher education located in the United States or its territories. Applicants must also demonstrate through letters of interest that at least one of each of the following types of organizations is interested in being part of the proposed regional partnership:
 
K-12 school or Local Education Agency (LEA)
Institution of Higher Education or College/University System
 and
Local employer
 
The deadline to apply is: Tuesday, July 12, 2016, by 11:59 p.m. ET

mapping project.  

We are seeking faculty, instructors, or subject matter experts familiar with courses that involve one or more of the following subject  matter areas:

Introduction to Scripting

The National Cybersecurity Student Association is a one-stop-shop to enhance the educational and professional development of cybersecurity students through activities, networking and collaboration.
