"U.S. Supreme Court justices, including the newest member, seem to be siding with a religious organization in a state-versus-church case. That's according to an observer who was there to hear the arguments .  .  .  .
May our high court make wise decisions in the many cases they hear. Pray for God's will to be done as they rule on this case involving state grants and churches.

"A former Korean-American professor has been detained in North Korea, becoming the third US citizen to be held by the regime since 2016.
Kim Sang-duk, also known as Tony Kim, in his late 50s, was reportedly prevented from leaving the country on Saturday when he tried to board a flight at Pyongyang international airport.  His detention will further complicate relations between Washington and Pyongyang at a time of already heightened tension.  North Korea said on Sunday that it.   . . .
Pray for protection from North Korea, not only for our nation, but for all nations. Pray that the Lord would inspire our foreign policy decisions.

Thank God for the Bible in the Schools program in West Virginia. Pray for the legal challenge against it to fail. Ask God not only for this program to continue, but also for similar programs to start around the country. May our youth learn the Scriptures and be equipped to lead this nation to righteousness.

YOUR PRAYERS AT WORK


We used to live in the city of Virginia Beach, very close to the Atlantic Ocean. Often we were threatened by possible hurricanes that occasionally came up the east coast of the United States. I remember a time when a group of Christian leaders, made up of pastors and intercessors, decided that the threat was too serious. They were on alert as watchmen. They called the region-which included seven cities-to day and night prayer for the protection of our area. God protected each city. . .
