Thanks to everyone who came out in support of the Will Ferrell's Epically Awesome Desert Showdown to benefit Cancer for College. Through everyone's efforts we raised nearly $1 million for the Cancer for College scholarship fund!

It was truly an epic series of events that began on Saturday with a very special evening with Will Ferrell and Founder Craig Pollard for the members at Bighorn Golf Club. It carried into Tuesday with the 21st Annual Will Powered Golf Classic. It all kicked into high gear on Tuesday with the Desert Smash Pro-Celebrity Tennis Exhibition at La Quinta Resort & Club and came to a rocking conclusion with the Concert Extravaganza featuring BoyzIIMen, RedFoo and Nelly at Agua Caliente Resort.

Thanks to all the players and performers who participated with special thanks to the incredible Kevin Spacey who was seemingly everywhere during the showdown. We'd also like to thank Novak Djokovic, Sam Wawrinka, The Bryan Brothers, Sam Querrey, Fernando Verdasco, Ana Ivanovic, Daniela Hantuchova and all the professionals who came out for the tennis. We were also honored to have Rebel Wilson, Joel McHale, Boris Kodjoe, Timothy Olyphant, Jon Lovitz and all the celebrities who came out in support of the cause.

We would also be remiss not to thank the great Will Ferrell and his wife Viveca. Will has been a big part of this charity from the very early days. He's seen it grow from one small annual golf tournament to what it became this year and we'd be lost without the boundless energy and enthusiasm he throws into every one of our events.

We also have to thank Albert Bertini who donated his island resort in Fiji and David Konwiser who donated his resort in Costa Rica with great benefit to the charity. We thank artist Brendan Murphy who donated numerous pieces of his work, Tim Snodgrass and Troy Downing who gifted some very cool experiences to the live auction. We also want to thank welterweight champion Tim Bradley who not only donated ringside seats to his upcoming fight with Manny Pacquiao but came down in person to auction them off. Thanks to Mr. Earl Morley and Matt Kline who are great champions of the cause. We also have to thank Mr. R.D. Hubbard and the entire membership at Bighorn Golf Club for welcoming us into their home like family. We are also grateful to the Agua Caliente Tribal Chairman Jeff Grubbe for the generosity and support of the team at Agua Caliente Resort who made life easy for many of our guests and performers during their stay. We also have to thank the dozens of volunteers including several past scholarship recipients who came out to show some love.
