TTF Needs YOU
We're so proud of our leadership! We're committed to recruiting Board members who are mission driven, represent our diverse watershed, and can provide "treasures, talent, and time." If you're thinking about it, please join with  neighbors just like you ...to make your water cleaner, your creekside trails safer, and your civic leaders clean water advocates. H elp us reach our goal of $20,000. Become a Friend of TTF -- make your donation online or mail us a check!

See you soon,
Julie

GOOD NEWS!

Organize & Celebrate!
We're so proud that we participated in the effort to pass the  Delaware River Basin Conservation Act. Working with the  Coalition for the Delaware River Watershed and  Conservation Voters of PA, we informed hundreds of our friends, who contacted legislators. Thank you! Visit our Issues page and watch for news about upcoming clean water efforts.

Have you seen the NEW  Tacony Park Keepers website? Check it out to learn about this beautiful park and how you can get involved. Thank you to developer  Portfolio Associates and funder the  William Penn Foundation.
Our First Adoption
The Vernon Park Rain Garden (our first, established in 2011) has officially been adopted through Philadelphia Water's Soak It Up! adoption program Along with the  Friends of Vernon Park , we will co ntinue to care for the garden and conduct weekly monitoring, making sure everything works properly and looks its best.

Monthly maintenance is also
provided by Philadelphia Water, ensuring  tha the garden captures  as much stormwater as possible from t he Center in the Park roof. All  that rainwater means a cleaner Tacony Creek and a beautiful park. Check it out when you're in Germantown!
