2017 Symposium: Call for Papers

The Texas Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy invites you to share your knowledge at our 6th annual Symposium by submitting an abstract to present in one of three categories: Group Panel Discussion, Presentation, and/or Professional Development Workshop. This year's theme, Partnering for a Better Texas, will focus on how we can work together to improve teen pregnancy rates and overall adolescent health for the many youth who call Texas home.   The symposium is expected to attract more than 350 professionals from across Texas including social workers, clinicians, researchers, educators, youth service professionals, graduate students and other key program staff.  The deadline for submissions is Friday, Nov. 18, 2016.
Paula Wheeler joins Texas Campaign

Let's Talk Month: Make it all year long

October is national Let's Talk month which means it's a great time for parents to have healthy, age- appropriate discussions  about sexual health with their children. After all, research has shown that parents are the primary and preferred sex educators of their children. Need help navigating these conversations?  Click here for ideas and tips on how you can be a catalyst in this effort, not only during the month of October but throughout the year.
