Join Us in the Pride Parade
Sunday, August 20
Lunch at Noon, Fellowship Hall

"Pride is faith in our belovedness." First Church will add our faith witness to Madison's Pride Parade. Our parade entry will include a "float" consisting of a decorated truck (complete with some lawn chairs for those who need to ride through the parade) and a unit of joyful marchers. Wheelchairs, scooters, bikes, wagons and strollers are all welcome too!

After a quick lunch in Fellowship Hall (freewill donation) we will leave the church around 12:45 p.m. to gather at our spot in the parade line-up for the 1 p.m. parade. If you can, please bring small candies to distribute during the parade.
Message on Matthew 14

Watch Rev. Mark Fowler's sermon from Sunday, August 13, based on Matthew 14.

First Church Ministries Highlights

During worship we express our appreciation for the wide variety of critical ministries to which our friends and members give their gifts of time and energy as an offering to God. There are many ways we can give to God and serve our neighbors. Maybe you will be inspired!
A Visual Journey:
22 Watercolor Paintings

Ann says that the discipline needed for painting "continues to influence my ability to look deeply at the world around me and to rekindle a sense of awe and gratitude." You are invited to enjoy Ann's paintings on Sunday mornings in September or visit on Gallery Night, Friday, September 29, from 7-8:30 p.m.
Joys & Concerns
