On Friday, we wrapped up our 12th workshop offered this year and it was an important one! We are grateful to Tracy Keller and Tammy Carlson, from the
Girl Scouts of the Colonial Coast, who provided an informative workshop on "
Navigating the New Overtime Rules." This is something that will effect nonprofits of all sizes and we are thankful for their insight.
Since January 2016, NetworkPeninsula has provided 12 workshops to 145 different individuals representing 65 organizations!
Items Needed for Shelter- Avalon is in need of various items for their shelter that houses victims of domestic abuse...
Mobility Equipment- The F.R.E.E. Foundation is in need of various types of mobility and other equipment for adults who are underinsured or uninsured...
You have a wonderful idea...a mission so compelling that it can't help but be a success. Before you start, it's important to know that this will not be an easy task to undertake. There are legal requirements, financial requirements, and much more to make your nonprofit a success - one that is able to meet the need that you set out to meet.
