So once you figure out what you are good at, what's next?? The most important thing to do is to get EXPERIENCE! Before you go out and work a full time job, getting an internship or co-op is an essential step of the learning process. Companies want to employ graduates who have already gotten their feet wet in the industry. Now I'm sure you are asking yourself, how do I get an internship or co-op?
Check out MySpartanCareer.com! Employers post jobs that they want filled and you can browse and search by major to find the right fit for you!
Another option would be to come to the career fairs on campus! Recruiters from all over the country to see what Spartans have to offer. Go out and get that internship!

TechSmith is a Lansing-based company that develops all kinds of software and loves to have students intern with them. They will be on campus recruiting this fall! Even if you aren't a computer science major, go check them out because they like to hire bright students who like to work with computers.
