CALEA is now accepting application materials for New CALEA Assessors. CALEA Assessors are contractual employees who follow the policies and procedures of the Commission in the delivery of accreditation assessment services. CALEA Assessors must have the ability to evaluate public safety management policies, procedures, practices, and activities. They must also comprehensively understand CALEA's accreditation process and standards.
Selected applicants will be invited to participate in a CALEA Process and Programs Knowledge Examination and Writing Assessment administered at CALEA conferences.
