Dragons' Den Auditions in Kelowna
Is your business "the next big thing?"
Producers are currently on a 33-city audition tour to find the country's best businesses in need of a Dragon investment for the 11th season of CBC's DRAGONS' DEN.
The audition tour welcomes participants of all ages, with businesses at any stage of development. Aspiring entrepreneurs should prepare to pitch their concept to the DRAGONS' DEN producers in five minutes or less. If they show the producers they have what it takes to pitch in the Den, they could be invited to Toronto to face the Dragons. Prospective pitchers are encouraged to
apply
online and bring a completed application form to the audition.
The producers will make their stop in Kelowna on March 10th at Okanagan College, Kelowna Campus, Centre For Learning - E building from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Overflow parking will be available at Evangel Church on Gordon Drive.

39th Annual
Angel's Forum
is being held in Vancouver on May 30th, where there will be 70 Investors. Applicants wanting to save money on the fee need to
apply
by March 15th. Presentations are 10 minutes plus a 5 min Q&A and a 5 min Investors-Only discussion after each presentation.

Kelowna to host BC Chamber AGM & Conference

The BC Chamber of Commerce's Annual General Meeting & Conference, the premier event for the business community in British Columbia, will be hosted in Kelowna this year from May 29 - 31.
The conference draws around 250 Chamber members and spouses from across the province

On the final night, the Kelowna Chamber will host a spectacular party for the delegates. For those local companies who sponsored our outstanding showcase of all things Okanagan at the Rotary Centre for the Arts in September of 2013, they will remember the tremendous exposure they gained through their sponsorship.
