Earth Day is every day 'round these parts. We work hard each day to help communities and individuals reduce their "waste footprint" and lessen their impacts on climate change by practicing Zero Waste.

But that doesn't mean we can't have extra celebrations, a new material accepted for recycling (yay!), and new ways to take action on the Earth Day!
Here are 4 Earth Day events
happening this weekend!

Denver: Colorado Earth Day
Where: Colorado State Capitol
When: Saturday, April 22nd, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Held on State Capitol grounds, Colorado Earth Day will feature k id-friendly activity zones, live music and performances, a student art competition, and an Earth rally.

Eco-Cycle will have a table at the event and staff will be on site all day  collecting petition signatures  and answering questions about recycling and how to make Denver a Zero Waste leader.

At 12:45 p.m., the group will circle the capitol to rally for environmental justice.

The worldwide #MarchforScience will begin and end next to the venue, so be prepared to meet thousands of motivated individuals looking to make a difference for the Earth!
Guest speakers include Eco-Cycle, League of Women VotersHealth Equity Colorado, and the Four Winds American Indian Council. A great opportunity to deliver your message and promote the Earth!
