Jacob Chandler - Capital High School Head Baseball Coach

Jacob Chandler grew up in Boise, playing baseball locally at Centennial High School. After high school, he went on a two year mission, after which he started coaching in 2007 at area high schools, including Vallivue High School (2008-2011), Meridian High School (2011-2017) and finally serving as the JV Head Coach and Varsity Assistant at Capital High School. While at those schools, he coached American Legion for the Vallivue Titans (A), Meridian Rangers (AA/A), and Boise Capitals. He currently serves as President of the Caldwell Youth Baseball Association. He also has been officiating football for District III for 7 years.

Mr. Chandler earned a Bachelor Degree in Social Sciences, with Secondary Education Certification, from Boise State University and a Master Degree in Education Leadership from Concorida University.

He and his wife, Melissa, reside in Caldwell, Idaho, with their boys, Ben (8), Easton (4) and a player to be named later (Aug. 6th).  In his spare time, Coach Chandler loves to spend time at the basball fields watching and supporting his boys. He also enjoys camping, fishing, and "anything that allows our family to be together," said Coach Chandler.
