Bill McCloskey - Capital High School Head Swim Coach

Bill McCloskey grew up on the east coast, attending high school in Virginia and college in Massachusetts. He competed as a year-round swimmer for 14 years, including three years at the high school level and four years as a Division 1 swimmer, earning All-Ivy and EISL honors and qualifying for the 1984 Olympic Trials. He is a 20-year military veteran, Jumpmaster, and Knowlton Award recipient. He currently volunteers as a Snake River Swimming and IHSAA official.

Mr. McCloskey earned an Artium Baccalaureus in Economics from Harvard.

He and his wife, Leora (Idaho Fine Arts Academy), reside in Eagle with their sons Elliott (College of Idaho) and Sawyer (CHS).
