New Career Management Program for Graduate Students
Dear Students:

The Walker School is excited to announce the new Career Management Program, a lifetime benefit for graduate students that will enable you to proactively manage your career and achieve your goals. Delivered in partnership with Right Management, a global leader in talent and workforce solutions, this program offers you:  

  • Career Coaching - up to four hours of interactive one-on-one sessions with an expert career coach
  • Career Essential Skills - training in effective negotiation techniques and high-yield job search strategies
  • Award-Winning Digital Resources - access to company research databases and assistance with building a personal website
  • iView Interviewing - exposure to effective interviewing skills using customized interview simulations
  • Networking - lifetime access to new job opportunities through Right Management's Global Job Bank at the completion of the program
To take advantage of this career benefit, you must register for the one-credit hour online course, MNGT 5870 - Issues in Management:  Career Success for the 21st Century. Enrollment for the Spring I and Spring II terms is underway now. Beginning in Summer 2015, this course will be listed as WSBT 5000: Career Success for the 21st Century.  

The course, Career Success for the 21st Century, will provide you with a foundation in career management; from social media to personal branding, career assessments and more. At the conclusion of the course, you will receive 12-months of access to Right Management's services and resources, including one-on-one career coaching, compliments of Webster University.

Effective career management is a fluid, on-going process, and this program provides you with the opportunity to work with an experienced career coach to map out your immediate and long-term career goals.
