Cancellation Policy:
Less than two days prior to start: no refund or credit.

Any classes cancelled by Margie's due to inclement weather, instructor illness, or lack of enrollment will be rescheduled or refunded in full. If class is not cancelled and you choose not to attend due to the weather, you will receive a class credit provided you call ahead and let us know. Margie's phone number is (701) 837-8555.

Students that miss classes are not entitled to make up classes. Please check your schedule.

THE FINE PRINT - These terms apply to all classes at Margie's Studio.
As a courtesy to others, please read and comply with these guidelines.
 
1. Your class will start on time. Please be on time and prepared.

2. Please put your phone on silent so that it won't disrupt the class.

3. Payment is required when you register for a class. When you register, we reserve that space and purchase supplies for you.  If you need to cancel, we require at least 7 days advance notice. With 7 days' notice, you will receive store credit for your tuition.  Otherwise tuition is forfeit.
Classes with guest artists are never refundable in any manner.

4. In the event of class cancellation, you will receive a full refund.

5. By registering for class, participants give permission for Margie's Studio to use photographs which may
Include their images of the participant and/or their artwork.

6.  Please bring Safety Glasses (also available for purchase at Margie's) and always Wear Closed Toe Shoes.

7.  Everyone who is present for a class is required to be registered in that class.   

8.  If the class cost is advertised as "plus supplies", only supplies purchased at Margie's Studio are permitted. 

9. Our primary goal is for you to have a good time!

Alcohol Inks
      

Join Margie as she guides participants to work with alcohol inks on a 6" tile.
The class will be working with alcohol ink, paint brushes, alcohol ink markers, blending solution, stencils and other tools to create unique pieces. Students ages 12 and up can create whatever they want, but the focus will be on Cherry Blossoms and hollyhocks.
Co st is $25/ person and all supplies will be provided to make 1 tile painting (more tiles will be available to create at an additional cost of $5 each). Art tiles make perfect gifts! Participants should wear an apron or old clothes as the alcohol inks could stain your clothes.

Jellybean Plate
 

Join me in making this beautiful, but easy to make Jellybean plate. Class fee is $40 to register and includes two firings; Clear  8" round base glass and clear scrap glass needed for project. Participants will be responsible to purchase their choice of colored glass.  

No experience needed. Just willing to have fun with others!

you may purchase your additional glass the day of class. Please allow extra time. 

Stained Glass 
Boot Camp
                                   
                  
Join us for our two day Boot Camp where we cover all the same basics as our 6 week course in this two day c oncentrated class. Pattern choice, glass cutting, layout, foiling, tool usage, soldering, framing and finish will all be covered. 

  Class size limited to 8 people
We will begin our class Friday at 6 pm and work until 8:30 pm. Saturday we will hit the ground running and begin at 10:30 am, plan to work all day until 5:30 pm with some quick breaks. Project is 10" x 16"; choose from 30 pre approved patterns.

  • No open toed shoes
  • Bring Safety glasses or purchase upon arrival
  • You must come in before the first class date to select your pattern and glass.   
January 25th and 26th  $185.00 plus glass. All other materials included in class. 10% discount on all glass tools during class.

This lovely simple project will make you smile when it's  hanging in your window.
Not cutting required, we will have everything pre-cut. 
Your job will be to foil and solder!

Here's another class that requires NO glass cutting, but could be a great way to brush up on your soldering skills! We will use a pattern and no experience necessary for this project.

Here's a chachki with a purpose! You know all those pretty little do dads that you just can't get rid of (Some are sentimental like mom's old costume jewelry)? We'll make a safe keepsake of them in one of these treasure boxes. All materials (except the bling) included.
